"Miss Darcy" has been proudly instructing dance, theatre, and other various forms of performance and visual art for 26 years through dance schools, recreational programming, non profit organizations, theatre groups, and dance ministries.

Miss Darcy's love for dance began at a very young age growing up in southern Ohio.  She majored in Theatre in college but came back around to her first love of dance in 1997 when she moved to Elyria, Ohio. Miss Darcy has always been passionate about building confidence in her dancers all while having fun, in a positive yet professional environment. She believes that each student has the potential to be a star and shine regardless of abilities. Miss Darcy continues her training in dance thru accredited training programs and provides ongoing training for her teachers in order to stay up to date on trends

Miss Darcy's concentration of instruction varies from from Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical to Musical Theatre, Shakespearian Theatre, adaptive dance for special needs, Vocal music and Tumbling and Contortion, beginner through advanced, ages 18 months through adults.   She has won numerous awards as a dancer as well as a esteemed choreographer with her choreography receiving high placement and overalls at the competitive level.  

As a performer, Miss Darcy has achieved high achievements and awards in theatre and music including the Irene Ryan award for ACTF, I Love Dance Competition Sweetheart, American Dancer of the Year, and several First Place and overall awards for her solo and group work  spanning over 25 years.

"Miss Joe" began dancing at 4.  She danced competitively for several years and won many awards including National Dance Champion.  She has taken classes at Broadway Dance Center as well as Ballet Magnificat.

Miss Joe  has experience in all forms of dance but her passion is Lyrical and Hip Hop.   She believes that dance can be used as a therapeutic art form and gives dancers an outlet to express their deepest feelings in a safe, productive way.

"Miss Elizabeth" began dancing at the age of 3.  She has a wide variety of styles ranging from jazz, ballet, pointe, lyrical, contemporary and hip hop. She did competitive dance for 7 years and multiple classes. In high school she was a part of the kick line and dance team while continuing to take classes. Elizabeth currently attends CSU where she is studying to be a Pediatric Physician assistant. She is a former semi pro cheerleader for the Lorain County Nightmares and currently a pro dancers for the Lake Erie Crushers. Dance has had a major influence on her life and she is very excited to have the opportunity to share her love of dance with our dance family.
