What is Me and My Grown Up?

Me and My Grown Up is a delightful class designed for children aged 3 and under, accompanied by their favorite grown-up – be it a parent, guardian, or older sibling. This class is all about fostering connection, encouraging exploration, and creating joyful memories together. Dancing: Groove to the music with simple, fun dance moves that even the littlest ones can follow. Props: Enhance the experience with colorful and engaging props that add an extra layer of fun. Activity Songs: Sing along to lively tunes that encourage participation and interaction. Tumbling: Explore movement and coordination with gentle tumbling exercises designed to be safe and age-appropriate. Comfortable clothing and athletic shoes are required for this class.

At MDA Dance House, students don’t just learn to dance—they get to shine! With exciting performance opportunities throughout the year, including our annual Spring Recital, dancers build confidence and experience the joy of being on stage. Along the way, our youngest students also develop essential life skills like taking turns, sharing, socializing with peers, and following directions—all within the comfort of having a trusted adult or sibling close by. It’s the perfect foundation for both dance and school readiness!

Dress Code Guidelines

To maintain a professional and cohesive appearance, we have specific attire requirements for our dancers:

For Ladies

• Shoes: Pink Leather Ballet Slippers, Black Slip On Tap Shoes

• Attire: Leotard and Tights. Alternatively, leggings or shorts are acceptable.

• Hair: Pulled back in a ponytail.

• For Ladies

• Shoes: Pink Leather Ballet Slippers (we may add tap shoes later in the year)

• Attire: Leotard and Tights. Alternatively, leggings or shorts are acceptable.

• Hair: Pulled back in a ponytail.

For Gentleman

• Shoes: Black Leather Ballet Slippers, Black Slip On Tap Shoes

• Attire: Plain Tshirt and Pants. 

Registration Guidelines

• Tuition & Registration Information

• Monthly Tuition: $52.00(includes weekly class, Spring Costume and Spring Recital Shirt)

• Annual Registration Fee: $50.00

• $10 discount for any additional classes for same dancer or another dancer in the same household. 

• $15 discount after 3 or more registrations, for any additional classes, within the same family

Tuition is billed on the 1st of each month. Payments may be made via autopay or in person by check or cash no later than one week prior to the due date. Tuition includes all classes within that month as well as costume and participation in our annual recital, studio tshirt, and holiday performances. Tuition is broke down into monthly payments and covers all classes within that month as well as additional events such as recitals and other performnaces. Season begins September 2025-June 2026. You may cancel at anytime however a 30-day written notice is required to withdraw from the program. Notices must be submitted via email to darcy@missdarcysacademy.com. Please note: no refunds will be issued. Discounts do not apply to special teams such as performance team, competition team or special events. If your dancer needs additional help to catch up in a class, a private lesson may be required;  MDA staff will advise if needed.
