Our classes for ages 3-4 provide an engaging introduction to Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Tumbling, fostering coordination and confidence in a joyful environment. What is Creative Dance?
Creative Dance is a lively and enriching program that introduces young dancers to the fundamentals of Ballet, Tap, and Tumbling—all in a playful and imaginative setting. With the help of fun games, upbeat music, and colorful props, students build coordination, confidence, and creativity while learning through movement and joyful exploration.
Benefits of our program
At this level, students begin dancing more independently and are introduced to the ballet barre, building a strong foundation in technique. They also start learning age-appropriate, more advanced steps designed just for preschoolers. Classes remain engaging and playful, incorporating fun music, props, and a mix of individual and group movement to keep young dancers inspired, confident, and excited to learn! With exciting performance opportunities throughout the year, including our annual Spring Recital, dancers build confidence and experience the joy of being on stage all by theirselves.
Dress Code Guidelines
To maintain a professional and cohesive appearance, we have specific attire requirements for our dancers:
For Ladies

Shoes: Pink Leather Ballet Slippers, Black Slip On Tap Shoes

Attire: Leotard and Tights. Alternatively, leggings or shorts are acceptable.

Hair: Pulled back in a ponytail.

Registration Guidelines
Tuition & Registration Information

Monthly Tuition: $60.00(includes weekly class, Spring Costume and Spring Recital Shirt)

Annual Registration Fee: $50.00

$10 discount for any additional classes for same dancer or another dancer in the same household.

$15 discount after 3 or more registrations, for any additional classes, within the same family
Tuition is billed on the 1st of each month. Payments may be made via autopay or in person by check or cash no later than one week prior to the due date. Tuition includes all classes within that month as well as costume and participation in our annual recital, studio tshirt, and holiday performances. Tuition is broke down into monthly payments and covers all classes within that month as well as additional events such as recitals and other performnaces. Season begins September 2025-June 2026. You may cancel at anytime however a 30-day written notice is required to withdraw from the program. Notices must be submitted via email to darcy@missdarcysacademy.com. Please note: no refunds will be issued. Discounts do not apply to special teams such as performance team, competition team or special events. If your dancer needs additional help to catch up in a class, a private lesson may be required; MDA staff will advise if needed.
