At the preschool and kindergarten level, students are just beginning to discover the joy of learning—and we’re here to make that journey exciting and inspiring! Our program blends playful exploration with purposeful skill-building. While we keep the fun going through engaging props and interactive activities, we also introduce more focused training in key skills and disciplines to support each child’s growing confidence and curiosity.
What is Combo?
Our Ballet Tap Combo class offers a unique and exciting blend of two classic dance styles. Students will explore the elegance and grace of ballet while simultaneously developing rhythmic awareness and footwork skills in tap. This class is designed to improve coordination, musicality, and overall dance technique.
Benefits of our program
Our Combo classes introduce young dancers to the basics of ballet and tap in a fun, nurturing environment. Dancers learn proper technique, terminology, and the importance of movement through ballet barre, center work, and across-the-floor exercises — all while having a blast!
Dress Code Guidelines
To maintain a professional and cohesive appearance, we have specific attire requirements for our dancers:
For Ladies

Shoes: Pink Leather Ballet Slippers, Black Slip On Tap Shoes

Attire: Leotard and Tights. Alternatively, leggings or shorts are acceptable.

Hair: Pulled back in a ponytail.
For Gentleman

Shoes: Black Leather Ballet Slippers, Black Slip On Tap Shoes

Attire: Plain Tshirt and Pants.
Registration Guidelines
Tuition & Registration Information

Monthly Tuition: $60.00 (includes weekly class, Spring Costume and Spring Recital Shirt)

Annual Registration Fee: $50.00
-
$10 discount for any additional classes for same dancer or another dancer in the same household.

$15 discount after 3 or more registrations, for any additional classes, within the same family
Tuition is billed on the 1st of each month. Payments may be made via autopay or in person by check or cash no later than one week prior to the due date. Tuition includes all classes within that month as well as costume and participation in our annual recital, studio tshirt, and holiday performances. Tuition is broke down into monthly payments and covers all classes within that month as well as additional events such as recitals and other performnaces. Season begins September 2025-June 2026. You may cancel at anytime however a 30-day written notice is required to withdraw from the program. Notices must be submitted via email to darcy@missdarcysacademy.com. Please note: no refunds will be issued. Discounts do not apply to special teams such as performance team, competition team or special events. If your dancer needs additional help to catch up in a class, a private lesson may be required; MDA staff will advise if needed.

What is Hip Hop?
Get ready to move! Our high-energy Hip Hop program teaches the fundamentals of hip hop and breakdancing in a fun, upbeat setting. Dancers will groove to popular music, learn line dances, and build confidence with every step!

Hip hop builds confidence, coordination, and rhythm — all while having fun! It’s a great way for dancers to stay active, express themselves, and learn cool moves in a supportive, high-energy environment.
